Flights:
South African Airways is flying in corporation with Lufthansa from Frankfurt directly to Johannesburg. Also British Airways, Emirates, Iberia and Air France are offering cheap direct flights. But remember South Africa is a popular travel destination, you need to book early enough.
Currency:
1 Euro equals approx. 7 Rands (ZAR). 1 USD equals therefore approx. 6 Rands (ZAR). You may also pay in Swiss francs and British Pounds.
Documents:
your passport needs to valid for another 6 months after your return. Other documents are not needed.

Weather:
8-9 sun hours daily The hottest months are from November until January. During this time we recommend light clothing, temperatures range from 20-28°C. The evenings can be cool at times so take some long-sleeved, thin clothing. The African Autumn and Spring are the best travel times for the active vacationer. The temperatures range from 20-30°C.
Vaccinations:
No other than the normal childhood immunisation is necessary. The waterberg area is malaria free therefore you don’t need any prophylaxis.
